Before

In the spring of 2017. Pembroke Boxing Club changed direction after long time head coach (Est 2004) Tate Deschamps began to plan his retirement from the military and coaching due to some debilitating injuries that took their toll on his ability to do what he had always loved so passionately. Jason Burgoyne came in as assistant coach and then after a few months took over as Head Coach. Once that was established, PBC began to grow. It wasn't long before we had outgrown our rented space and started to look for space of our own. When a space opened up right on the downtown strip we jumped at the idea and thus started the new life of the sweet science in Pembroke. We had great plans...but there was a lot of work to do before that would become reality....

A ton of work went into the building including pushing the storefront out to the sidewalk, putting in the bathrooms and resurfacing the entire space. It wasn't easy but we pushed through all of the hardships and persevered through each setback.

Now

Nice, bright, large open space. We now sell the gear we need for ourselves, we train when we want, and we are still growing!

After the hectic summer and fall of rebuilding and ordering items, we now have our beloved Pembroke Boxing Club for everyone to enjoy.
